Pastor Paul Enenche, the founder and senior pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Center has shared an account of what he described as an extraordinary rainfall event in Botswana after he was reportedly asked to pray for rain during a crusade in the country.

Speaking during a sermon shared via YouTube from 08:00, the founder of Dunamis International Gospel Centre said the incident occurred during a ministry outreach in Botswana, where prolonged dry conditions had reportedly affected parts of the region.

According to Enenche, the request came from the mayor of Gaborone, Botswana’s capital city, who appealed for prayers due to an absence of rainfall.

The pastor said the crusade took place in the Kalahari Desert region, where he claimed rain had not fallen for an extended period. He noted that local officials and residents expressed concern about the dry weather conditions.

Enenche explained that he prayed not only for spiritual revival but also for physical rainfall, while asking that rain should not disrupt the crusade activities.

“I told them rain would come after we left,” he said, noting that he believed rainfall during the crusade itself could interfere with outdoor gatherings.

According to his account, the ministry team departed Botswana on a Saturday morning. He claimed that within 48 hours, heavy rainfall began in the area.

The cleric stated that the rain reportedly became so intense that it caused flooding strong enough to move vehicles. He later described the development as an example of what he called “over prayer,” suggesting that the rainfall exceeded expectations.

Enenche also referenced a separate crusade in New York, where he said prayers were later made to reduce excessive rainfall after heavy downpours occurred.
