Peter Obi, a presidential aspirant in the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has called on Nigerians to stop using tribe and religion in politics, saying these things do not help solve the problems people are facing.

In an interview on SYMFONI TV, Obi said some politicians talk about tribe and religion because they cannot show what they can do. He said this is often used to gain support when they have no clear plans or skills.

He explained that Nigerians are all facing the same hardship, such as high cost of food, fuel, and other basic needs. According to him, these problems affect everyone, no matter their tribe or religion.

Obi said no group in the country gets cheaper food or better treatment in daily life. He stressed that what Nigeria needs is good leaders who can solve problems, not people who divide others.
