In a recent post on Facebook, Evangelist Mike Bamiloye recently addressed the concerning issue of identity fraud among those living abroad, urging individuals to live authentically and reject fraudulent practices.

He highlighted the spiritual and personal consequences of such actions, noting that many people end up carrying another person’s curses and afflictions by taking on names that are not theirs. This deceptive practice, Bamiloye warned, can lead to significant hardships and a loss of one’s true identity.

Drawing a parallel to the biblical story of Jacob, Mike Bamiloye reminded his audience of the importance of seizing opportunities to correct past mistakes and live truthfully.

According to him, “Some people have reversed their years backward to deceive the government about their retirement age. A lot of people are bearing another person’s name abroad. They had taken up the fake name their immigration agents had given to them through the self-arranged traveling document they had secured because of their obsession to travel out of their country. So, a lot of people are carrying another persons’ curses and afflictions, for taking up the names that are not theirs.”

“Whose identities are you carrying? yours or someone else’s? Whose name have you taken up as pet name? Whose life are you living? your life or some else’s life? There was another chance presented to Jacob to make an amend and he did not waste time to use the chance and rebuild the faulty altar. Whose life are you living? sort it out with God.”…..Seë_Morë
