Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has advised Peter Obi to give women prominent positions in his campaign organisation as he prepares for the 2027 presidential election.
The cleric delivered the message in a recent video from 4:10 shared on his official Facebook page, where he spoke about the need for the former Anambra State governor to strengthen the structure of his campaign council.
Ayodele specifically urged Obi to place women in strategic roles, arguing that their involvement in important positions could contribute significantly to his political ambition.
He stressed that Obi should pay close attention to how his campaign team is organised rather than relying solely on his existing popularity and support base.
Addressing the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Ayodele said, “Obi, you try as much as you can to structure the system of your campaign council that will really help a lot, a lot and you need to really put women in your strategic places.”
Although the cleric did not identify any particular women or specify the positions they should occupy, his message focused on giving them influential responsibilities within Obi’s campaign structure.
