Sani Aliyu, a public affairs commentator, raised concerns about how bandits appear to obtain sensitive information, questioning the apparent ease with which they track victims and execute attacks, while urging authorities to thoroughly examine possible intelligence leaks behind incidents.

According to a video from 37:38 posted on the official YouTube channel of Trust TV on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, while discussing Nigeria’s security challenges, Aliyu questioned how armed groups repeatedly obtain timely information that appears to aid their operations nationwide.
