Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma has warned his supporters against working with political groups outside the All Progressives Congress (APC), threatening to withdraw their vehicles if they are found supporting other platforms.

Uzodimma made the statement in remarks reported by The Cable on its official X account on October 27, 2026, following a Rainbow Coalition rally in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The governor declared that the coalition had no presence in Imo State and insisted that his supporters should focus on securing the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other APC candidates.

He also warned that anyone who chose to work outside the ruling party risked losing the vehicle provided to them, reinforcing his demand for loyalty to the APC.

According to The Cable, Uzodimma said, “There is no rainbow coalition in Imo state. If I see you work outside APC, I will collect the vehicle from you. You are here, you are empowered to work for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and our All Progressives Congress, APC”.
