The family of 36-year-old Victor Nwala is in distress after he went missing on April 7, 2026, in Enugu State.
According to a report by Punch on Saturday May 2, 2026, his younger sister, Goodness Nwala, said Victor had recently moved from Port Harcourt to Enugu to work as a security guard at a construction site. According to her, she was informed by his wife that Victor had bathed, prepared his food, and left his phone charging at work before stepping out around 7 p.m. to get something. He never returned.
Goodness said she became worried after calling his number and hearing a stranger answer. When she followed up, she was told Victor had left his phone behind and had been missing since that evening.
She later travelled to Enugu but discovered conflicting accounts from his colleagues. While some said he simply stepped out and disappeared, others claimed he had been assisting a carpenter before leaving unnoticed. These inconsistencies raised concerns for the family.
She also alleged that the company where Victor worked failed to provide clear information or support during the search. Despite reporting the case to the police, she believes it has not received enough attention.
The situation has deeply affected the family, especially Victor’s wife, who is currently recovering in the hospital after losing her newborn baby.
Goodness is now appealing to authorities to take the case seriously and help find her brother, expressing hope that he will be found alive.
In her words, “One colleague said nothing unusual happened, that Victor only said he was stepping out to buy something, left his food and phone charging, and never returned.”…Read_More…
