Senator Victor Umeh has stated that on November 14, 2022, Governor Charles Soludo publicly stated that Obi would not win any state in the 2023 presidential election. He said Soludo also stated that Obi would not get up to 25 percent of votes cast in more than two states
In an interview from 33:44 with Trust TV, Umeh when the election was conducted Obi won in 12 states and secured at least 25 percent of votes cast in 22 states across the country
Umeh further stated that people should not believe Soludo’s comment that Obi would not keep to his promise of serving only one term if elected president
