Nigerian activist and presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC, Omoyele Sowore has vowed to embark on a protest if the school children who were kidnapped in Oyo state are not released.
This statement was contained in a post that Omoyele Sowore shared on his official X handle on Saturday, May 30, 2026.
This is coming after some students and teachers were abducted by bandits at the Oriire Local Govenment Area of Oyo state.
In the post that Omoyele Sowore made on his page, he said he will shut down Aso Rock in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja if the victims are not released.
Omoyele Sowore said Tinubu and his service chiefs must look for a way to release the schoolchildren from the hands of their abductors.
