Former Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha has recounted attacks and incidents involving members of his family and associates during his dispute with Governor Hope Uzodinma.
Speaking in an interview from 28:20 with Channels Television, Okorocha described what he said were painful experiences, including an attack on his daughter, Uche Nwosu’s arrest and the shooting of his in-law.
He also recalled that his police orderly, identified as Samuel, was attacked with a machete and left covered in blood. Despite these incidents, Okorocha said he had remained in the All Progressives Congress (APC), noting that he was among the party’s founding members.
Expressing his frustration over what he described as the humiliation he and his family endured, Okorocha said, “No one in this country would take the humiliations I have taken, having seen my daughter dragged and beaten, her husband handcuffed, my in-law shot on the leg, my orderly a police officer Samuel macheted with blood all over his body. And yet nobody could speak”
