Oseloka Obaze, a former Anambra State gubernatorial candidate in the 2017 elections and erstwhile PDP Chieftain has explained the reasons why Peter Obi has a large number of supporters.
According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle on Wednesday May 6th, 2026 he pointed out that the people saw in the former governor, a man wiser than themselves.
The 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, it can be recalled, shook the political landscape after he announced his departure from the African Democratic Congress, ADC to the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC.
His defection was followed by a wave of political realignment, with several political heavyweights including Abia State lawmaker, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe amongst several others leaving the party.
