Senator Shehu Sani, a renowned human rights activist and former Kaduna central senatorial district lawmaker has taken to his official X handle to react after Omoyele Sowore emerged as the presidential flag-bearer of the AAC party.
According to the statements which were shared on his official X account on Tuesday May 26th, 2026 he pointed out that his victory was well deserved.
“Congratulations to Sowore for your hard earned victory as the flag-bearer of your party the AAC. The Lord is your strength.” He wrote.
The respected activist, it can be recalled, had raised serious concerns over the inability of the current administration to protect the people, however, Shehu Sani believed that his emergence will offer him the opportunity to do better.
However, his message triggered massive public reactions as many believed that his assertions were satirical, aimed at taking a dig at the activist.
