According to a video from 7:04 posted on CBN News on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, Kelly Wright described President Trump’s broader objective in the conflict with Iran as securing a full surrender from the regime, one that brings lasting peace and stability to both Iran and the wider Middle East.

Wright made the comments while responding to a question about whether the campaign is ultimately aimed at regime change.

Wright explained that although American strikes have already severely damaged Iran’s military infrastructure, the regime has so far refused to capitulate.

He said the administration hopes continued pressure will eventually force Iranian leadership to accept defeat rather than prolong the conflict.
