According to a video from 20:38 published on the official YouTube channel of Channels Television on Friday, May 8, 2026, Kenneth Okonkwo criticized the political approach of Peter Obi while discussing the future of the African Democratic Congress ahead of the 2027 elections.
Speaking during an interview on Hard Copy, Okonkwo said Obi made a mistake by expecting automatic support within the coalition without fully participating in the party’s internal process.
