Activist Harrison Gwamnishu has stated that SP Bright Edafe, PRO for Delta State Police Command, invited him for a meeting with the Delta Commissioner of Police at Ekpan police station after Oghenemine Ogidi was killed by ASP Nuhu Usman

In an interview from 9:28 with Honest Bunch Podcast by Glitch Africa Studios, Gwamnishu said he went to the police station with some people who began to protest after the Commissioner of Police refused to show up for the meeting.

 

Gwamnishu said while they were all there, about 30 young men suddenly came with new cutlasses and began to attack them. He said many people were injured during the incident. He stated that he lost his phone and his shirt was torn while running
