In a recent video from 05:00 on Facebook, controversial Nigerian cleric and political commentator Primate Elijah Ayodele has released a new set of political forecasts touching on party dynamics, national leadership, and election outcomes in Nigeria.
In his remarks, Ayodele focused heavily on the growing influence of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), predicting wider acceptance in northern Nigeria. He stated:
“ADC will spread everywhere in the North.”
He also warned of rising political tension and possible insecurity around partisan activity, urging caution in how supporters engage with rival groups. According to him:
“APC supporters may be attacked in some places.”
“People are tired and angry.”
The comments have generated discussion among political observers, especially given Nigeria’s already tense political climate. Ayodele suggested that dissatisfaction among citizens and party members could influence future political outcomes and public stability.
Turning to national leadership and the ruling party, he expressed uncertainty about the long-term political strength of the current administration led by President Bola Tinubu. He said:
“The president is not 100% certain to win second term.”
“APC people are tired and angry.”
His remarks also extended to opposition politics, where he referenced Labour Party figures and potential realignments. Speaking about opposition leader Peter Obi, he stated:
“Obi cannot be president… he may become vice or step down.”
Neither the ruling party All Progressives Congress nor the opposition African Democratic Congress has issued an official response to the remarks at the time of this report. Read_More…
