Babachir Lawal, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, has reacted to the defection of Peter Obi from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to the National Democratic Coalition (NDC)
In a video from 2:20 shared by The Cable, Lawal said he won’t join Obi in NDC or support him for president again. He said he is older than Obi and Obi did not bring him into politics. He also said he has been in politics longer than Obi. Lawal added that Obi did not sponsor his education or give him bag of rice to feed at home
In Lawal’s words: “I did not join politics because of Peter Obi and I probably have been in politics longer than him because I am older than him, and there is no way I can tie my own ambition and political inclination to one person. He did not pay my school fees, he has never given me a bag of rice to eat in my house. So I don’t understand how you will say because Peter Obi has left I should follow him…Read_More…
