According to a report by Fox News from from 4:17, on Monday May 4, 2026, Retired Navy SEAL Mike Sarraille is calling for the United States to escalate military pressure on Iran, arguing that striking key infrastructure is the only way to break the regime’s resolve and end a conflict that has plagued the West for nearly five decades.

Sarraille emphasized that while the first round of kinetic operations decimated Iran’s military leadership, the regime remains defiant.

He suggested that the U.S. must now target the country’s dual-use infrastructure such as power and communications to bring the remaining leadership to the reality of the situation.

Sarraille, who fought against the Iranian-backed Quds Force in Sadr City in 2008, framed the current conflict as a fundamental battle of ideologies.

“Given my experience of having fought against the special forces, Quds Forces in Sadr City in 2008. Again, it’s all about survivability,” Sarraille said. “They want this regime to stay intact, and they will continue to oppress the people if we don’t do something about it.”

He argued that the goal is not just tactical victory but the total eradication of this evil. For Sarraille, the mission is clear: “This is a decision of good and evil, and the left is completely on the wrong side of history on this.”

The retired officer also took aim at political critics who have raised concerns regarding the War Powers Resolution and the 60-day limit on unauthorized military action.

Sarraille pointed to historical precedents as justification for the current administration to bypass these legislative hurdles.

“They want to scream about the 60-day clock, and we look at the precedents Reagan (in Lebanon), Clinton (in Kosovo) Obama (in Libya)—they all went beyond the 60-day clock,” Sarraille noted.

He urged the public and Congress to unite behind the Commander-in-Chief to resolve the long-standing tension between the two nations once and for all.
