Following recent revelations that Iran’s missile-making capabilities remain partially intact, retired Vice Admiral Robert Harward is warning that the remaining 15% of the regime’s arsenal poses a grave threat to U.S. forces and regional allies.

Speaking on Fox News from 1:13, on Monday May 4, 2026, the former CENTCOM Deputy Commander emphasized that the threat extends far beyond the immediate battlefield, potentially targeting critical civilian and economic infrastructure across the Middle East.

Admiral Harward highlighted that even a severely diminished Iranian missile program remains a potent weapon for a regime that often leverages time to erode American political will.

“Well, more importantly, they can threaten not only attack our forces in the region, but all our allies in the region, Saudi, UAE and Qatar, go after their desalinization plants, go after their oil infrastructure,” Harward said. “So that’s the biggest threat from their missiles and drones.
