Speaking during an interview from 13:14 on Nigeria Info FM, Mr. Olatunde Zacchaeus, a teacher among the victims of the abduction at a secondary school in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State, recounted his experience and described the languages spoken by the bandits during the incident.
Zacchaeus said the abductors communicated in different languages while holding the victims and explained that although some of them spoke Yoruba fluently, he did not believe they were Yoruba because they appeared to have learned the language.
He said the use of Hausa, English, and Yoruba made it difficult to identify where the kidnappers came from and noted that the victims remained hopeful throughout the ordeal until they eventually regained their freedom.
