According to a report by Al Jazeera on May 10, 2026, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Iran’s nuclear materials, enrichment facilities, and regional proxy groups must be dismantled before the ongoing conflict can end. Speaking in an interview with CBS, Netanyahu said Israel and its allies still have more work ahead despite recent military actions against Tehran’s capabilities.

“We’ve degraded a lot of it, but all that is still there, so there’s still work to be done,” Benjamin Netanyahu told CBS. He stressed that Iran’s nuclear infrastructure remains a major concern for Israel’s security and suggested that operations carried out so far have not fully achieved their objectives. Netanyahu said the conflict could not end while those capabilities still exist.

During the interview, Netanyahu avoided discussing detailed military or strategic plans regarding how Israel and the United States might remove Iran’s nuclear materials or dismantle enrichment sites. When asked directly about the methods being considered, he gave a brief response.
