Desmond Bright, AIA Youth Coordinator and member of the Orsu Youth Forum in Imo State, has spoken about some of the people killed by IPOB fighters in his community
Speaking in an interview from 6:23 with News Central TV, Bright said IPOB fighters killed a man that came from Port Harcourt after they found a police report inside his vehicle and wrongly believed he was a police officer. He stated that a prominent member of his community was also killed at the same location
Bright said another man who came to visit his girlfriend was also shot dead by IPOB fighters in that location. He said the IPOB fighters killed many innocent people while claiming they were protecting his community from armed herdsmen. He added that they tried to recruit every youth in his community but he refused to join them
