According to a report by The Times of Israel, In a stinging critique of American diplomacy, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced that a potential breakthrough in peace negotiations has stalled, accusing the United States of sabotaging a historic memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the final hour.

The Iranian diplomat characterized the U.S. approach as a blockade to peace, suggesting that despite being inches away from a signed document, the American delegation reneged on previous understandings.
Araghchi detailed the sudden hurdles that appeared at the finish line:
“But when just inches away from ‘Islamabad MoU’, we encountered maximalism, shifting goalposts, and blockade. Zero lessons learned.”
The failure of the talks appears to have soured the immediate prospects for further cooperation.
Araghchi concluded his statement with a pointed warning, suggesting that the nature of future interactions will be determined entirely by the actions of the United States.
“Good will begets good will. Enmity begets enmity,” the Foreign Minister cautioned. Read_More…
