U.S. President Donald J. Trump has issued a strong warning to Iran, accusing the country of failing to fulfill its promise to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and refusing to abandon its nuclear ambitions.

In a detailed statement, Trump said Iran’s actions had caused “anxiety, dislocation, and pain” globally, noting that concerns over naval mines and instability have discouraged international shipping through the critical waterway.

He stressed that despite reported damage to Iran’s naval capabilities, uncertainty remains too high for commercial vessels to safely pass, adding that the situation has harmed Iran’s global reputation.

Reaffirming his long-standing position, the President declared that under no circumstances would Iran be allowed to develop nuclear weapons, signaling the possibility of continued pressure or further action if negotiations fail.
