Mike Ejiofor, a former director of the Department of State Services (DSS), has stated that he recently travelled to Enugu State and was impressed by the level of technology the state has deployed to improve security.

In an interview from 14:54 with Channels Television, Ejiofor said he saw that security vehicles fitted with cameras were stationed at almost every kilometre across the state. He said this system allows security agencies to monitor activities without constantly stopping motorists on the road. Ejiofor stated that the use of technology has helped reduce crime in Enugu
