Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has declared his support for Kingsley Ogundu Chinda, widely known as O.K. Chinda, as the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State, and urged his supporters to back his candidacy.

Fubara made the statement while speaking about the political situation in Rivers State, stating that peace had been restored in the state.
The governor also reaffirmed his support for President Bola Tinubu, saying the president is the candidate they are backing.
Fubara said Chinda is the governorship candidate he is supporting and called on everyone who believes in him to support Chinda.
He said his supporters should follow his lead and support the candidate, stressing the importance of unity as the state moves forward politically.
