Media aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Lere Olayinka, has reacted to a viral video in which a TikToker allegedly claimed that the pupils and teachers abducted from Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State were transported to Kaduna State by helicopter.
Olayinka shared his reaction on X, criticising the social media user over what he described as an unfounded claim regarding the abduction and movement of the victims.

He added that the content creator further claimed that some of the victims were transported by road.
“He went on to say that some of them were moved through the road,” he stated.
Olayinka warned that spreading unverified claims about sensitive security matters could attract legal consequences.
“When he is arrested now, some Human Rice and Beans Cashtivists will be jumping up and down, shouting ‘FREE Lagbaja’ bla bla bla,” he wrote.
The media aide did not provide evidence to counter the TikToker’s claims but suggested that individuals who circulate unverified information on security issues should be held accountable.
