Hon. Habib Mai-Lemo, spokesman for the Kwankwasiyya Movement, has stated that political figures like Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso, have genuinely organic followings across Nigeria.
Speaking in an interview from 15:27 with TRUST TV, Mai-Lemo explained that by “organic following” he meant supporters who are deeply committed and not simply mobilized by short-term incentives. He said these supporters are active, ready to participate in campaigns, and could be decisive in shaping election outcomes.
Mai-Lemo suggested that a joint ticket featuring both leaders would bring together voters from different regions, northern Nigeria, the East and the South, creating a broad national coalition. He argued that such a partnership could strengthen national unity among those voter blocs and offer significant political advantages.
In his words,
“Like I told you, in the whole country now everybody knows that it is only Peter Obi and Kwankwaso who have organic followers, and those followers are ready. In fact, there is a lot to benefit from a ticket like that; it would also bring close rank between even the northern Nigeria, the eastern and to the southern part of the country.” Read_More…
