Bayo Onanuga, the senior special adviser on Information and Strategy has taken to his official X handle to take a serious swipe at renowned activist and former Labour Party Chieftain, Aisha Yesufu for defecting to the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC.
According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle on Thursday May 7th, 2026 he pointed out that the activist joined the NDC because of the former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi.
The 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, it can be recalled, had thrown the political landscape into frenzy after he announced his decision to depart the ADC few months to the general elections.
His departure, was followed by a wave of defections from the ADC, including Abia State lawmaker Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, Aisha Yesufu, amongst several others.
