The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Elijah Ayodele, has issued a stern warning to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the fate of schoolchildren abducted in Oyo State, declaring that any harm done to the victims could have serious political consequences for the administration.
In the recent video from 5:37, Ayodele made the remark while addressing concerns over the continued captivity of pupils, students and teachers kidnapped by gunmen from schools in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The cleric, who has repeatedly spoken on issues of national security, urged the Federal Government and relevant security agencies to intensify efforts aimed at securing the safe return of the victims.
According to him, the abduction has become a major test of the government’s commitment to protecting citizens, particularly children, who remain among the most vulnerable members of society.
He expressed concern over the rising cases of kidnapping and insecurity across the country, warning that Nigerians are becoming increasingly frustrated with the situation.
Ayodele stated that the consequences of failing to rescue the abducted children could extend beyond security concerns and influence public perception of the government ahead of future elections.
Speaking on the issue, the cleric declared: “If they kill those children, Tinubu will not win second term. Tinubu second term is nil, absolutely nil, said by God, not by me.”
The statement is the latest in a series of comments by Ayodele regarding the security situation in the country and the political implications of persistent insecurity.
He maintained that leaders at all levels of government must treat the rescue of kidnapped victims as a priority and ensure that every available resource is deployed to combat criminal activities.
The cleric also called on governors and security stakeholders to work more closely with federal authorities to address the growing threat posed by kidnappers and armed groups operating in different parts of the country.
According to him, Nigerians expect decisive action rather than promises, especially in cases involving schoolchildren and innocent civilians.
Ayodele further stressed the need for improved intelligence gathering, stronger security coordination and proactive measures to prevent future attacks on schools and communities.
The abduction in Oyo State has generated nationwide outrage, with civil society groups, religious leaders, entertainers and political figures calling for urgent intervention.
As rescue efforts continue, public attention remains focused on the safety of the victims and the government’s response to the crisis.
Ayodele insisted that the lives of the abducted children must be protected at all costs, warning that the outcome of the incident could shape public confidence in the country’s leadership and security institutions….Read_More…
