Jesutega Onokpasa, a lawyer, has stated that he went to the EFCC office after he heard that Yahaya Bello went there with Governor Usman Ododo of Kogi State.

In a live coverage by Arise TV from 6:45, Onokpasa said when he got there he was told that several people, including EFCC staff hailed and called Bello “White Lion,” when he visited the office of the anti-graft agency.

Onokpasa said that Bello stayed at the EFCC office and interacted with the chief of staff of Olanipekun Olukoyede for four hours. He said during their interaction, Bello was told to leave and return home, however, EFCC agents went to Bello’s lodge and attempted to arrest him at night.

In Onokpasa’s words: “I drove there and I parked at the car park. They told me Yahaya Bello was there with Governor Ododo and people were hailing him including the EFCC staff, calling him White Lion and he stayed there for 4 hours. He interacted with the chief of staff, I don’t know where the chairman my learned friend Olanipekun Olukoyede was. Bello interacted with Olanipekun’s chief of staff who told him to go home”.
