One of the chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and former Kaduna lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central at the National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani has reacted after an X user criticized Chidinma Adetshina saying she will only get bag of rice for winning Miss Universe Nigeria 2024.
This is coming after PUNCH reported that Chidimma Adetshina, who represented Taraba State, has been crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2024.
The report further stated that she will be representing Nigeria at the Miss Universe grand finale in Mexico in November.
However, after the report surfaced online, the X user compared Miss South Africa and Miss Nigeria. She criticized Chidinma Adetshina saying she will receive bag of rice as prize for winning the pageant.
Reacting to the comment, Senator Shehu Sani stated that the difference between the two winners is that Miss Nigeria is African.
