Founder of TAF AFRICA, Jake Epelle, has spoken about the strained relationship between the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, and some political figures who once played important roles in his rise to prominence in Rivers State politics.

Speaking during an interview from 3:05 on News Central TV, Epelle said, he stated that the development reflects how political relationships in the country often change over time despite years of alliance and cooperation, noting that many Nigerians still remember the support Wike received from key political leaders during his early years in public office.

“He is a strong enemy of Odili. He is not on talking terms with Jonathan and his wife, and he is not on talking terms with Amaechi. These are the people who paved the way for him to emerge, and none of them is talking to him today.”

He also referenced former President Goodluck Jonathan, his wife Patience Jonathan, former Rivers State governor Rotimi Amaechi, and former governor Peter Odili as individuals widely believed to have contributed in different ways to Wike’s political growth before the current disagreements emerged.

According to Epelle, political disagreements should not erase the history of relationships and support that helped shape public leaders, adding that mutual respect and understanding remain important in sustaining healthy democratic engagement and political stability across the country….Read_More…
