Kenneth Okonkwo, spokesperson for the Atiku Presidential Campaign Council, has criticised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership, blaming his administration’s economic policies for the hardship experienced by Nigerians.
In a video shared on News Central TV’s official X account on Thursday, October 29, 2026, Okonkwo expressed dissatisfaction with Tinubu’s performance since he assumed office in 2023.
The former lawmaker argued that the president’s policies had placed a heavy burden on citizens, claiming that many Nigerians had become poorer under the current administration. He also maintained that the country deserved better leadership.
Expressing his frustration with Tinubu’s presidency, Okonkwo said, “I don’t know what we did to God for Tinubu to become our President. God, we are sorry”.
