One of the victims kidnapped from Woro community in Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State has spoken about the conditions she endured while being held captive by Boko Haram terrorists
In a video from 0:16 shared by TVC, the victim said there days when the terrorists did not give her and other captives food. She stated that the terrorists once asked whether there was a nurse among the captives, but she told them there was none.
She said while in captivity, she helped 10 pregnant women deliver with her bare hands because she had no gloves. She added that after the terrorists realized she was a nurse, they wanted her to remain with them but she told them she wanted to return home.
In her words: “They asked if a nurse was with us, I said no. I used to help pregnant women during deliver. I helped 10 women deliver without gloves, I used my bare hands to help them. But at last they later knew and they wanted to keep me to stay with them but I said no, I want to come back home”
