In a video from 0:31 shared by News Central TV, Abayomi Arabambi, a member of the Labour Party National Working Committee aligned with the Julius Abure faction, reacted to comments made by Peter Obi, the NDC 2027 presidential candidate, saying there was no reason to believe anyone was after him ahead of the 2027 general election.

Arabambi said Obi should seek spiritual guidance if he believed he might not witness the 2027 election, maintaining that nobody was pursuing him and insisting that the former Anambra State governor was responsible for the concerns he had expressed during the interview.

He said political leaders should avoid making statements that could create unnecessary concern among their supporters, adding that the political atmosphere ahead of the 2027 general election should not be interpreted as a personal threat against Obi while maintaining that everyone should continue to participate peacefully in the democratic process.
