A video from 0.29 that was posted on the official X account of THE CABLE on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 has captured the moment the former Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai was saying that he doesn’t believe that security agencies can’t locate bandits.
This came after school children and teachers were kidnapped in Oyo state.
In the video that surfaced online, the former Chief of Army Staff said if ordinary citizens and social media influencers can be located, security operatives can locate bandits too.
He said the Federal Government needs to recruit more troops and policemen.
According to Tukur Buratai;
“I don’t believe security agencies can’t locate the bandits if they can locate ordinary citizens, social media influencers. But I think they may have their reasons. There must be capacity building of all the security agencies. We need more troops and policemen to be recruited”….Read_More…
