Former federal lawmaker Shehu Sani has reacted to the Los Angeles, California, wildfire, which has caused loss of lives and destruction of properties in the United States.
According to THE GUARDIAN, a devastating wildfire, known as the Palisades Fire, has been raging in Los Angeles since January 7, 2025, prompting evacuation orders and warnings for residents in the affected areas.
The fire, which is currently under investigation, has spread across 200 acres of land, with flames spotting across Palisades Drive and burning on both sides of the road.
While reacting to the incident, ex-Senator Shehu Sani took to his official social media handle on X and expressed his dismay over the tragic disaster.
He pointed out that people living in a country with fewer natural disasters should be very grateful.
Shehu Sani wrote, “When nature strikes, humans are helpless. The California fire is a tragedy that reveals the limitations of we humans in the face of the fury of nature.If you live in a country with fewer natural disasters, thank your Lord.”
