Social media users have taken to their official X account on Saturday, September 12, 2026 to react to the statement that was made by the Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri after an X user criticized Rufai Oseni.
The X user criticized Rufai Oseni after he shared a post about the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, Peter Obi.
The X user wrote;
“In an unprecedented move, Abike Dabiri arranged a meeting and made it possible for the Nigerian Community in India to meet with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. So they can present their issues to the President directly. Rufai you definitely don’t know about this right?”.
Reacting, Abike Dabiri stated that there is no professionalism and research in journalism anymore.
According to Abike Dabiri on her official X account;
“How can he? When there is no research and professionalism in journalism anymore. India actually thereafter granted amnesty to all Nigerians who had immigration issues and released over 300”.
