Solomon Bob, a member of the House of Representatives from Rivers State, has criticized fellow lawmaker Ikenga Ugochinyere for his involvement in Rivers State affairs. Bob argued that no federal constituency or district spans more than one state, making Ugochinyere’s comments on Rivers matters inappropriate.
He accused Ugochinyere of overstepping his boundaries, describing him as inexperienced and unqualified for legislative discourse. Bob called on the House leadership, particularly the Speaker, to address the issue, warning that he has evidence to back his claims and will no longer tolerate such actions.
He said in an interview with Symfoni from 4:43, “No federal constituency or district can fall within more than one state. By implication, you cannot speak for any place other than where you represent. What I am telling you, I have already put before the house leadership to call them to order.
We, as a Rivers caucus, wrote to the leadership—particularly the Speaker—to take action and rein in this man who acts like a demented g*at. If he dares me, bring him to confront me—I have receipts. He can’t speak where I talk because he will fail ten times in one sentence. He can’t differentiate between singular and plural verbs. The time for cold respect is over—I’ve condoned this nonsense long enough. He’s a new member, a legislative neophyte.”
