Omoyele Sowore, in a video from 1:07 posted on his official YouTube account, spoke after visiting a detained individual identified as B-Lord at a correctional facility, providing an update on his condition and reflecting on the experiences of activists and freedom fighters.
He stated that the visit followed recent legal proceedings and was aimed at assessing the well-being of the detainee.
He argued that B-Lord remains in good condition and mentally prepared for eventual release, adding that detention is often a recurring reality for individuals involved in activism. He added that throughout history, many prominent figures who fought for justice and societal change have experienced imprisonment at different points in their lives.
According to him, “But I also need to report to you that B-Lord is doing well.” He’s not sick, and he will be out, and he’s ready and prepared mentally for whenever he’s out.
