FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has alleged that despite the restoration of the David Mark-led ADC leadership, a Federal High Court judgment issued days earlier has barred INEC from recognising that leadership which leaves the party’s legal crisis far from resolved.

Speaking on TVC News from 1:33, Wike said, “The importance of this vacation of status quo ante bellum is that the leadership of David Mark has been restored. Well, I’m not a member of ADC. I’m not talking about anything about that. However, assuming that is the current position, the judgment of the Federal High Court yesterday barred INEC from dealing with them. So ADC is still in a big problem,” he said.

Turning to the Supreme Court ruling that went against the Turaki faction of the PDP and their convention, Wike argued that political parties must operate within their rules and constitutional frameworks.

He also took a pointed swipe at PDP governors Bala Mohammed and Seyi Makinde, noting that the two were attending an opposition coalition meeting and questioned where their political journey would ultimately lead them now after the Supreme Court ruling…Read_More…
