During an exclusive interview from 3:35 with Channels Television on Thursday, June 4, 2027, Ayodeji Adedipe, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, gave his take on the court judgment sentencing suspects involved in the deadly attack in Owo, Ondo State, to death.

Recall that unidentified gunmen had attacked the Saint Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State, killing several worshippers and inflicting brutal injuries on others.

Following the incident, five suspects linked to the attack were apprehended and prosecuted, and recently, four of them were sentenced to death in a judgment delivered at the Federal High Court in Abuja.

However, during the interview with Channels Television, the Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Ayodeji Adedipe, revealed that the suspects were members of the Al-Shabaab terrorists group and they attacked the Catholic Church because their leader told them that the church insulted the Islamic prophet, Muhammad.

In Adedipe’s words, “They (terrorists) decided to attack Owo because their leader, Odoba, who remains at large, told them that the Catholic Church was insulting prophet Muhammad.”….Read_More…
