Primate Elijah Ayodele has addressed former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi over his comments concerning their political activities ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
In a video from 16:22 shared on Facebook on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, the cleric maintained that his statements about the two politicians were based on what he believes he had been shown about the political situation.
Ayodele said his warnings might not be welcomed by Atiku and Obi but insisted that his intention was not to please either politician or their supporters.
He also urged political figures to consider advice and warnings even when they are uncomfortable, particularly as preparations for the 2027 election continue.
Emphasising his position, Ayodele said, “Whatever I am saying, you might not like it, but I’m just a messenger.”
