According to the statements which were shared on her official X handle, she pointed out that the Chieftain was a political strategist.
The announcement regarding the recent deal struck with a United States lobbying firm by Elderstateman and ADC Chieftain, Atiku Abubakar generated mixed reactions after the reports went viral across various social media platforms.
The deal, worth over one million dollars, was made to influence political narratives in Nigeria, an act which triggered massive public reactions as many believed the INEC through the deal, will be made to sit up and deliver on their mandate.
Reacting, Lauretta Onochie, a prominent member of the ADC and former presidential aide in a recent statement which was shared on her official X handle, praised the tenacity of the Elderstateman.
According to her statements, she pointed out that the deal worth $1.2m struck with the Washington lobbying firm was not only a real political statement, but a strategy that made INEC to suddenly retreat.
