The former AMAC candidate, Moses Paul has revealed the reason why the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, Peter Obi attended the campaign that the Allied Peoples Movement, APM organized for Seyi Makinde in Abuja.
The statement of Moses Paul was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on September 7, 2026.
This is coming after Peter Obi attended the APM gathering and said Seyi Makinde is also qualified to be the President of Nigeria.
In the statement that Moses Paul shared on his page, he said Peter Obi attended the event because he understands that nobody can build a nation by burning every bridge.
He said Peter Obi showed up at the APM campaign because he understands that Nigeria is bigger than every ambition and political party. Moses Paul said the NDC presidential candidate believes that anyone who wants to govern the country must be willing to unite the people.
According to Moses Paul on his official X account;
“He did not show up because he had surrendered his ambition. He did not show up because political competition had ended. He showed up because Nigeria is bigger than any political party and the Nigerian project is bigger than any individual ambition”.
