Veteran Yoruba actor Olorunlaiye Yomi has recalled an incident where he was tapped while prostrating to greet a colleague who advised him that his action would be captured on camera.

Speaking in an interview from 24:47 on BEHIND THE FAME, Yomi said loyalty still exists but is increasingly misunderstood in the entertainment industry.

He explained that after returning from a major event in Abuja, he met some colleagues, including Bukkie Wright and Fathia. According to him, he continues to uphold strong values of respect and loyalty despite the changes he observes in the industry.

Yomi noted that when he prostrated to greet a colleague and was told to stop because of camera visibility, it made him reflect on how some people now prioritise public image over traditional respect and humility.

He said,

“I flew from Abuja yesterday. I saw my sister Bukkie Wright and Aunt Fathia. We were both in Abuja three days ago for a big event. I prostrated to greet, and somebody tapped me. He is an actor; he said, “How will you do that? Don’t you know that you will be seen on the camera?”…Read_More…
