Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to the President, was seen addressing Leke Abejide, a member of the House of Representatives elected on the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), commending his political resilience.

In a video from 0:57 shared by Nigerian Affairs Journal, Gbajabiamila praised Abejide for winning elections in Kogi State under the ADC, describing his victories as a reflection of strong grassroots support and personal credibility, especially in a political environment dominated by larger parties.

Gbajabiamila noted that Abejide’s ability to secure consecutive wins under a relatively less prominent platform speaks to his determination and political strength. He further described Abejide as a committed party man and a fighter who resists political pressure, urging him to remain steadfast despite calls from other quarters to defect.

According to him, “My charge to you is to stay in that same ADC. Fight them. Scatter them. Hold on to your party ADC. Do not allow them. We like what you are doing—continue. The former governor said that you should come and join the APC. No, no, no, stay in the ADC. Win your re-election in the ADC as you will.” Read_More…
