Prophet Joshua Iginla, the founder and senior prophet of Champions Royal Assembly has shared his personal political views on Nigeria’s forthcoming presidential election, stating clearly that his position is not based on divine revelation but on personal analysis.

Speaking during a recent video via YouTube, Iginla emphasized that his comments were strictly his own opinion and should not be interpreted as a prophetic declaration.

According to him, “This is my own political opinion, just my own opinion. God did not tell me,” distancing his remarks from spiritual authority.

The cleric, however, went on to suggest what he believes could be a strong strategy for any opposition seeking to challenge the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). He argued that if the opposition truly intends to mount a serious contest, certain political alignments must be carefully considered.

Iginla specifically mentioned Peter Obi as a key figure capable of giving the ruling party a strong fight if properly positioned. He suggested that Obi should take the lead role in any such political arrangement, rather than serving as a secondary candidate.

According to him, positioning Obi as a vice-presidential candidate could weaken his influence and diminish his political value. He warned that such a move could lead to a loss of what he described as “political capital,” making it harder for the opposition to gain momentum.

The preacher further stressed the importance of strategic sacrifice in politics, noting that progress often requires difficult decisions and calculated risks. He advised that political actors must be willing to make bold moves if they hope to achieve meaningful change.

While acknowledging differing opinions, Iginla maintained that his analysis was based on observable political realities rather than spiritual insight. He urged listeners to approach political decisions with wisdom and long-term thinking. Read_More…
