In an interview from 18:38 on Dairy of A Naija Girl, Nollywood actor, Daniel Etim Effiong, stated that he had an encounter with God in January 2025 that changed his life.
Effiong said he went to church on a Sunday and decided to go and greet a female pastor before service commenced. He said when he hugged the pastor, he felt her whole body vibrating, which he found unusual. He stated that after returning to his seat, he suddenly began to feel his own body vibrating.
Effiong said it became so intense that he fell to the floor near his seat. He stated that his wife was beside him as he shook uncontrollably for some minutes. He said after the experience, he noticed a major change in his life. He stated that he stopped watching pornography, lost interest in substance abuse, and began to feel closer to God.
In Effiong’s words: “I went to church, beginning of the service I went and hugged the pastor of the branch. When I hugged her I felt her whole body was vibrating, and I thought it was weird. I walked to my seat and as I sat down I felt my entire body vibrating. Nobody prayed for me, they were not praying in the church but my whole body was vibrating so bad I fell on the floor in front of church by my seat.
